Validity of Eligibility:
This award is for those pursuing an MA at a public university.
Studying the social sciences, sociology, economics, history, or journalism, or a closely connected discipline, is highly recommended.
- Applicants should have a track record of involvement in political or social causes.
- Applicants must have a track record of success (averaging 80% or higher).
- The grant is restricted to students under the age of 35.
- The award money can be used to pay for tuition, books, room & board, and other essentials.
- Either German or English proficiency is required for your course of study. Learning German is useful in many aspects of life.

The deadline for applications to begin the summer semester is December 15 of the preceding year.
If you want to start classes in the upcoming winter semester, your application must be received by July 1st of that year.
